2. how it works for body


  • Oxidation inhibitor, prevent cancer, and anti-aging  

Onion has rich Quercetin. Quercetin is work for anti-oxidant and change of DNA.

Cancer is the disease which can change your DNA rapidly into the whole body.

When cancer tries to change your DNA, Quercetin will try to prevent the change.

Quercetin can protect us from oxidation,  and also from change DNA.



Quercetin can protect your skin from the oxygen in the air, and also it can

regenerate your sell of skin. Skin is the same as apple. If we leave apple outside, it is

going to be getting dark brown and dry caused by oxygen. Quercetin can help to

reduce the oxidation of skin.



  • Protecting blood vessel, and preventing heart diseases.

How it works on your blood and heart.  Vitamin B 1,2 can reduce Homocysteine.
(homocysteine is that the thing makes your blood thick, and it makes Thrombosis
in a blood vessel)

onion has a few Vitamin B, but the important thing is Allicin in onion.

When an onion is heated, Allicin in onion is combined with Vitamin B, and it will be 

Allithiamine which is activated Vitamin B.  Activated Vitamin B could not be decomposed

by heating and stomach.


Quercetin can prevent oxidation, so it can also prevent oxidation of cholesterol

in blood vessel and Atherosclerosis.


Rutin in onion can make Capillary healthier and stronger.



  • Onion is good for Diabetes
Onion can make Pancreas making more Insulin. What is Insulin? 

Insulin : Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas that allows your body to use sugar (glucose) from carbohydrates in the food that you eat for energy or to store glucose for future use.   • Onion has lots of sugar?
Many people think that onion has lots of sugar because when we cook onion,

the food with onion always tastes sweets.  The sweets from onion caused by

compounds of brimstone in onion. When onion got heated, some compounds of

brimstone is changed to Propyl mercaptan. It has 50-70times of sweets compared with

sugar without calories. We can use onion as healthy sugar.


  •  Onion can help you to make muscles.
Onion can help our body to make more Insulin, and Insulin can handle blood sugar

and Amino acid.  When your muscle got hurt or damage after working out,

Insulin can bring Amino acid from somewhere in our body, and it can help muscles

to be healing and fill it with new muscle. 

If you do not have enough Insulin in your body,  your muscles can not be grown.

4. How can use to cook


When onion got heated, activated vitamin B is made, but Allicin is dead.

If you want to keep both, just chop or slice onion and heat.  Doing physical damage

on garlic makes much more allicin, so it can still have allicin although it got heated.


chop or slice onion and heat with oil or food.
