1. What is Phosphorus

Phosphorus is second-most in a body following calcium.

Almost 1% occupied by Phosphorus.

80% of Phosphorus work with calcium.  They are combined.

20% of phosphorus work alone in a blood vessel or inside of cells.



2. Why should we have phosphorus


  • Bone made with it - it makes bone stronger

  • Making a balance of PH

  • Activating Vitamin and Enzyme

  • Involved in energy metabolism

  • Muscle contraction and relaxation


3. What food has phosphorus

You do not need to worry about lacking phosphorus.
Lots of food we eat usually have phosphorus in it.
We just need to worry not to have too much phosphorus.



4. Recommendation

The daily recommendation for an adult is 350-400mg a day.

2 (calcium):1(phosphorus) proportion with calcium.
