1. What is steaming
Steaming means cooking meat with hot steam.
This way is not really meeting water, so people could think that steaming is not enough to cook.
Boiled water is usually less than 100'c (212F), but hot steam from the water is usually hotter that.
The hot steam could be reached 300'c ( 572F) and molecule of steam is smaller than water,
so easier to get into food and cook.
That is why burn of the skin by hot steam is more dangerous than hot water.
2. Why we do it (benefits)
- NO BURN - When we cook meat on grill or fire, benzopyrene could be made up.
Benzopyrene is the carcinogen.
