2. What is yogurt

Yogurt means the milk which is fermented with lactic acid bacteria.

Ancient nomads started to make yogurt with fermentation using animal's milk.

While it is being fermented, lactic acid bacteria helps that milk does not go bad.

Also, the fermentation of yogurt is decomposing carbohydrate (lactose).

SO, if you have Lactose intolerance, yogurt could be a good replacement for you.

Yogurt is fermented milk, and sour cream is fermented cream.

Yogurt is not always thick. Yakult is also kind of yogurt but watery.

3. How it works for a body

  •  Plenty of calcium

  • The better option for lactose intolerance

  • There is a study that shows plain Yakult is good for diabetes.

  • Probiotics  - Reduce cholesterol and blood pressure,  increasing the immune system.

  • Prevent vaginitis - vaginitis happens when a body is acidic.
If we have yogurt, it makes the body alkalinity which reduces germs of vaginitis.

4. How to eat

There is no answer about this, but there is a recommendation.

Better choose plain yogurt. No sugar is better.

For yogurt 100-150ml day is good.

For Yakult 250-300ml a day is good (plain)

However, yogurt and yakult with sugar and so much stuff in it do not need to eat every day.
